Lakras Velvet 18th Century Blazer

This set of blazers emerged from a personal research journey sparked by my DNA test (ALEK creative director) results, which revealed previously unknown family roots in Manchester. During my visit, relatives gifted me these garments—pieces that are now nearly disappearing, as they date back more than a century. Museum-worthy and profoundly rare, they are not intended for wear. Presented at NYFW, these blazers stand as archival LAKRAS artworks, preserving a lineage, a history, and a legacy in textile form.

Crafted with 100% cotton yarn and intricate crochet detailing, this LAKRAS piece in size S is a unique and stylish addition to any wardrobe.
