During my visit, relatives gifted me these garments—pieces that are now nearly disappearing, as they date back more than a century. Crafted from sumptuous velvet and adorned with intricate embroidery and opulent buttons typical of its time. Museum-worthy and profoundly rare, they are not intended for wear. Presented at NYFW SS, these blazers stand as archival LAKRAS artworks, preserving a lineage, a history, and a legacy in textile form.
